Q: When will I get my frames?

A: 35mm film frames will be cut from the first print of the finished film, though we may be able to ship sooner by printing chunks of the film as each sequence is "finalled". Of course, this depends on our rate of progress, which depends in turn on funding. If you'd like to receive a gift immediately, buy the "Frame Deluxe", and receive a high quality photo print right away.

Q: Is this tax-deductible?

A: Tax-deductible payments may be made through our fiscal sponsor, The Independent Feature Project. You will receive a certificate from the IFP verifying that your donation is deductible. However, we encourage you to make your payment directly to us, because it's faster, and we pay fewer administrative fees that way. (If you don't need the certificate, then what you write off is between you and the IRS.) Click here to make a tax-deductible donation.

Q: Do I need a PayPal account?

A: No! They want you to think that you do, but you don't. When you go to checkout, there's a gigantic "Log In to PayPal" box. To the left of this box is a little tiny "continue" link. Click this link to pay with your credit card, without creating an account. It looks like this:

Q: How do I know this is legit?

A: "Doctor Island" is a fiscally sponsored project of the Independent Feature Project, which is a highly respected non-profit arts organization. We have a lengthy contract with them, wherein they are responsible for watching over us. (This is what allows us to legally accept tax-deductible donations.)
