These images are individual 35mm film frames from The Death of Doctor Island, an experimental film project that tells the story of a naked boy with a head wound, a homicidal maniac, and a girl who has swallowed a bird.

The project incorporates both an innovative soundscape and possibly the most extensive use of visual effects techniques of any non-commercial, experimental film to date.

Motivating the painstaking manipulation of each image is the idea that nearly every frame of film should stand on its own as a piece of art... So to fund this massive artistic endeavor, each of the frames above is being made available for purchase to an individual patron of the arts.
